On the first floor, we reconfigured the layout to create a generous main bedroom and a spare bedroom.

We designed a new kitchen for the home, featuring a bespoke terrazzo splashback by Diespeker that adds texture and visual depth, paired with simple timber cabinetry and clean white worktops to create a calm, practical backdrop for daily life.

Art plays a central role throughout the home. Works by Rosa and other artists integrate seamlessly into the design, with lighting, sightlines, and wall space intentionally planned to enhance the presence of each piece.

We utilised a soft off-white palette throughout to give the interior a cohesive feel, with accents of bold colour to bring rhythm and energy.

This Victorian terrace in Bristol is the former home of Ro Projects founder Rosa Roig-Fiol and her husband Duncan. The project involved a full interior renovation of a Victorian terrace in Bristol, modernising the space and infusing it with personality, while carefully maintaining the building’s original character.

The design pays homage to Rosa’s Mallorcan roots, layering earthy tones, natural materials, and tactile finishes into the home’s Victorian framework. Plywood joinery throughout brings warmth to the space, elevated through artisan-made objects and finely considered detailing. We retained and restored original Victorian features where possible - such as the pine floorboards - while introducing elements such as exposed plaster ceilings to give a contemporary edge.

The interior is styled with a deliberate sense of balance and contrast. Handcrafted pieces sit alongside high-street finds, while vintage treasures and family heirlooms are thoughtfully paired with contemporary design.
